As young holiday goers, we loved the friendly staff and warm welcome upon arrival. the room was clean and spacious, with a well-equipped bathroom. the location was beautiful and convenient.

We felt very well looked after, no complaints.

It was very cold so the heating did not heat that much.

The convience of the food places and the highway exit

The room was cold. Hot water was not actually hot it was warm the room was freezing. There was no hair dryer in the room I had to ask for one. Dstv channels were not clear the tv was fuzzy the entire time, the volume also wouldnt go up. The kettle in the room wouldnt work.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in a beautiful and convenient area. The rooms themselves were spacious and well-equipped. We were delighted to find a kettle provided in our room, making it easy for us to enjoy a cup of tea whenever we wanted. The staff at the reception were incredibly helpful and professional. One of our sons fell asleep in one room while the rest of us were still watching TV. When we tried to move him to the other room, the door wouldn't open and he didn't wake up when we knocked. However, the receptionist handled the situation with utmost professionalism, quickly assisting us and ensuring everything was resolved smoothly. We truly believe this hotel has a fantastic team, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you for providing such a splendid place!

We changed our booking to include breakfast by phoning the hotel as suggested. But no changes were made on the system - which resulted in an extra r140 expense for breakfast.

I had a wonderful stay at The Lakes Hotel & Conference Centre. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment. The hotel's atmosphere and scenic surroundings added to the overall experience. The staff was friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The pool area was a great place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful weather. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant getaway.

The hotel offered two amenities we enjoyed, a pool and a restaurant, both in good condition. Its location was near to key landmarks, making it easy to explore. We also appreciated the friendly staff who were always available to help.

We were disappointed by several aspects of the hotel. The room was dirty and poorly maintained, with broken handles and inadequate lighting.

The hotel has a location advantage being near the highway, which is convenient for travelers. the hotel is located next to a lake, offering a peaceful view. Some rooms have a view of the highway or a pond and are spacious and well-designed. the hotel's meeting rooms are functional and provide a comfortable environment.

The service at breakfast needs improvement, with long queues for egg orders and dishes not being refilled.

The hotel had great facilities, including a restaurant on site which was perfect for our large group. The food was delicious and staff provided excellent service. The location was ideal, being close to the airport and right across the highway.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The fireworks on New Year's Eve were spectacular, and the pool was nice and clean. the hotel is situated near popular restaurants and shops, which was convenient. the staff was friendly and attentive.

The room was outdated and needed maintenance. the shower had a leak, and the air conditioning made a weird noise all night.

The staff were incredibly friendly and always had a smile on their faces. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the receptionist, who was both helpful and professional. We encountered a situation where one of our group members had fallen asleep in one room while the rest of us were still watching TV. When we tried to move to the other room, we couldn't open the door without waking the sleeping child. the receptionist handled the situation in a professional manner and quickly resolved the issue. His assistance truly made a difference and showcased the excellent service provided by the hotel. the rooms were also spacious and comfortable, adding to our overall enjoyable experience. The lakes surrounding the facility added a touch of tranquility, and the hospitality of the entire staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Cons: Nothing, all excellent! 😊.
